Why This Matters

The Gap We Are
Here to Close

360°
Integrated care model — clinical, holistic, maternal, community
Care that spans every stage of a woman’s life

Women are navigating critical life stages — reproductive health, maternal care, perimenopause, and menopause — through fragmented systems that often leave them unheard and unsupported.

Care exists, but it is disconnected. Women are left to coordinate their own experiences across providers who rarely communicate, creating dangerous gaps at every stage of care.

This is more than healthcare. It is a reimagining of how women experience care across the full lifespan — connected, holistic, and grounded in continuity, dignity, and whole-person support.

Our Founder
Denise Cottman
Founder & CEO, The House of Nirvana (THON)

Denise Cottman is the Founder of The House of Nirvana (THON), an initiative focused on reimagining how women experience care across pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause.

This work didn’t begin with a business plan. It began with listening, observing, and paying attention to what women were navigating every day. Through her own experiences and conversations with other women, Denise began to notice how often care felt fragmented, disconnected, and difficult to navigate. Care that should be coordinated and supported is often fragmented, leaving women to navigate and piece it together on their own across every stage of life.

Professionally, Denise has spent years working in change management within cloud environments, focusing on governance, structure, and how complex systems actually function. That experience shapes how she approaches healthcare, not just as a system that delivers care, but one that must be intentionally designed to support people in real, meaningful ways.

She brings that same lens to THON, where she is working to build a more connected approach to care, one that brings together clinical, holistic, and community-based support, including doulas and midwives, in a way that reflects how women actually live and move through different stages of life.

At its core, Denise’s work is about making care feel less isolating and more coordinated, so women don’t have to navigate it alone.
