The Gap We Are
Here to Close
Women are navigating critical life stages — reproductive health, maternal care, perimenopause, and menopause — through fragmented systems that often leave them unheard and unsupported.
Care exists, but it is disconnected. Women are left to coordinate their own experiences across providers who rarely communicate, creating dangerous gaps at every stage of care.
This is more than healthcare. It is a reimagining of how women experience care across the full lifespan — connected, holistic, and grounded in continuity, dignity, and whole-person support.
Denise Cottman is the Founder of The House of Nirvana (THON), a health equity initiative focused on transforming how women experience care across pregnancy, postpartum, and lifelong health transitions.
With a professional background in ITIL change management within cloud environments, Denise brings deep experience in governance, regulatory alignment, and operational compliance across complex systems. Her work has centered on implementing structured change, managing risk, and ensuring accountability in technology-driven environments.
Her perspective is further shaped by experience in AI-adjacent and digital transformation initiatives, where she has worked at the intersection of innovation, governance, and ethical oversight. Denise founded THON after recognizing persistent gaps in how women navigate care, building toward a more coordinated model that integrates clinical, holistic, and community-based support.
