The House of Nirvana

The House of Nirvana – Reimagining Women’s Healthcare

A New Standard for Women’s Healthcare

An integrated care model that connects medical care, holistic healing, and cultural support across every stage of life.

What We Do

The House of Nirvana (THON) is building a 360 ecosystem care model that integrates clinical, maternal, holistic, and community-based care into one coordinated system across every stage of life.

Clinical Care
Physicians, specialists, and preventative care across reproductive health, chronic conditions, perimenopause, and menopause transitions.
Maternal Support
Pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, and recovery guidance grounded in safety, continuity, and whole-person support.
Holistic Healing
Mind-body practices, hormonal balance support, stress regulation, and culturally-rooted approaches to whole-person wellbeing.
Community
Shared spaces of education, advocacy, and support across every life stage—including fertility, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause.

Why This Matters

Women are navigating critical life stages—including reproductive health, maternal care, perimenopause, and menopause—through fragmented systems that often leave them unheard and unsupported.

Care exists, but it is disconnected. Women are left to coordinate their own experiences across providers who rarely communicate, creating gaps at every stage of care.

The Movement

This is more than healthcare. It is a reimagining of how women experience care across the full lifespan—connected, holistic, and grounded in continuity, dignity, and whole-person support.

Our Founder

Denise Cottman

Founder & CEO, The House of Nirvana (THON)

Denise Cottman is the Founder of The House of Nirvana (THON), a health equity initiative focused on transforming how women experience care across pregnancy, postpartum, and lifelong health transitions.

With a professional background in ITIL change management within cloud environments, Denise brings deep experience in governance, regulatory alignment, and operational compliance across complex systems. Her work has centered on implementing structured change, managing risk, and ensuring accountability in technology-driven environments. This expertise directly informs her approach to redesigning healthcare systems.

Her perspective is further shaped by experience in AI-adjacent and digital transformation initiatives, where she has worked at the intersection of innovation, governance, and ethical oversight. This lens informs her commitment to ensuring that evolving models of care remain transparent, equitable, and community-centered.

Denise founded THON after recognizing persistent gaps in how women navigate care, particularly across critical life stages where support is often fragmented and inconsistent. Rather than accept these gaps as inevitable, she is building toward a more coordinated model of care that integrates clinical, holistic, and community-based support, including doulas and midwifery-informed practices.

Her work is grounded in a systems-based approach to change, moving beyond awareness to design, structure, and implementation. Through THON, Denise is focused on creating pathways for care that are more accessible, accountable, and aligned with the realities of women’s lives.
